Black Urfa Chili features a rich, malty flavor with a lingering burn. Grown in Urfa, Turkey for centuries, the red chilis are laid out under sheets in the summer sun to cure - resulting in a deep umami flavor and beautiful dark color. Use it in stews, tomato sauces, salad dressings, chocolate desserts or on scrambled eggs. *This chili contains a little sunflower oil which may make it appear a little clumpy or damp ( this normal appearance also makes the chili delicious!).
